ShopSquirrel does not send your data to external servers.

The data you enter in the app — shopping lists, products, categories, and notes — stays locally on your device and never leaves it.

App data is saved in a local database on your device. It is available only to you and is not shared with third parties in any form.

You can permanently delete it at any time from the app settings (Settings → Clear app data).

The app does not connect to external servers and does not require internet access.

List sharing uses the system share sheet. The list content is passed directly to the apps selected by the user — without external servers being involved.

The app allows you to set local notifications for shopping lists. Notifications are scheduled and displayed only by your device operating system — no data is transmitted externally.

Permission to display notifications is optional and can be withdrawn at any time in your device system settings. Refusing permission does not limit other app features — it only disables notifications.

The content of a scheduled notification (list name and time) is stored locally together with the rest of the app data.

Because the data stays on your device, you exercise your rights directly through the app features.
